Welcome to my blog. Four years ago I went through a personal struggle that led me to mindfulness and spiritual practice.
I believe that our mental health and wellbeing is one of the most important things we can care for. Not merely because it impacts our physical health too, but because it better equips us to deal with all of life’s ups and downs.
I’ve been a journalist for 20 years, starting out as a reporter on the Kentish Express and then moving to London to work on magazines. I moved back to Kent from London in July 2018 and I wanted to write about all of the positive things that going on in our local community.
I started this blog so I could find out about local events, activities, classes and projects centred around positive mental health, mindfulness and wellbeing and to help others to connect with them too.
